Allergy is exagrated response of body to unknown allergen (offender). The allergen could be either Inhalant which is taken in by nose and may reach to lung or it could be ingested as food or as drug. Some allergens are contact allergens responsible for Skin allergies.

नाक की एलर्जी को "Allergic Rhinitis" कहा जाता है |
नाक और फेफड़ों की एलर्जी जैसे दमा "Naso bronchial Allergies” कहा जाता है |
आँखों की एलर्जी को “Allergic conjunctivitis” or Spring catarrh कहा जाता है |
त्वचा या चमड़ी की एलर्जी को “Atopic Dermatitis” कहा जाता है |
त्वचा की पित्ती को “Urticaria” कहा जाता है |
भोजन की वजह से होने वाली एलर्जी को "Food Allergies" कहा जाता है |
दवाओं / चिकित्सा की वजह से होने वाली एलर्जी को "Drug Allergies" कहा जाता है |

All these allergies are “IgE” mediated reaction in blood, hence Total Serum IgE levels are measured, If they are much above the normal, patient is labeled as ‘Atopic’ or ‘Allergic”; such patients need to go for Allergy Test.
